Job summary

GPC is hiring an IT Systems Support Specialist in Minnesota to maintain and support our computer systems and networks across locations. The role focuses on server hardware/software upkeep, user support, documentation, and policy enforcement.

We expect 2+ years IT experience, strong networking skills (LAN/WAN/VPN), and familiarity with SQL. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, retirement plans, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in information technology or computer science.
• Minimum 2 years of proven IT experience.
• Experience with LAN/WAN/VLAN and VPN networking.
• Experience administering server-side technology and networked systems.
• Familiarity with SQL and database operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software to ensure uptime.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and guides.
• Set up, configure, and deploy workstations.
• Provide level 2 desktop and application support to users.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies (Active Directory).
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and escalate as needed.
• Setup and manage mobile devices and policies.
