Job summary

Air Combat Command, Moody AFB, Georgia, is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to manage technical aspects of computer services for QoLNet and EISP. The role includes maintaining servers, OS, AV updates, and supporting strategic technology planning with the IT Manager.

Qualifications

• Technical responsibilities of computer services for two commercial networks QoLNet and EISP.
• Maintains servers, operating systems, and antivirus updates; performs software upgrades.
• Supports strategic technology planning with Air Force, MAJCOM, and base-level goals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical aspects of computer services and systems related to 2 Commercial networks; QoLNet and EISP.
• Maintains system servers, computers, operating systems (OS) and applications to include software upgrades, data separation, equipment maintenance, replacements, etc.
• Assists IT Manager in preparing a strategic plan for continuing technology and coordinates plans with various activities.
• Evaluates user requirements for data and automated systems; conducts surveys to improve mission support; provides training; updates operating instructions.
