Job summary

Information Management Group (IMG) is seeking a Computer System Analyst/Network Administrator to join our on-site team in Schenectady, NY. The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining workflow solutions to boost operational efficiency and support mission objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and collaborative problem-solving with responsibilities spanning Exchange/Skype, Cisco networks, Splunk SIEM, Windows and RHEL,

Qualifications

• DOD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance is required.
• Bachelor's Degree with four years' experience, Associate's Degree with six years' experience, or High School Diploma with ten years' experience.
• Cisco CCNP (CCNA may be substituted with 3+ years of Cisco experience) and Splunk certifications are preferred.
• VMware, NetApp, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Microsoft On-Prem experience; Commvault experience also valuable.
• Drug test required prior to onsite work and random testing during tenure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an on-site Microsoft Exchange and Skype deployment.
• Manage Cisco WAN/LAN using SD-WAN, FirePower, and DNA Center.
• Configure, tune, and monitor Splunk Enterprise SIEM with rulesets and response.
• Monitor Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux clients and servers, including SCCM management.
• Manage virtual environment with VMware and NetApp; oversee backups with Commvault.
• Escalate and assist helpdesk within established SLA measurements.
• Maintain infrastructure availability and respond to emergent issues.
• Maintain cybersecurity compliance per approved government procedures.
• Follow government configuration control procedures.
