Job summary

Information Management Group (IMG) in Schenectady, NY seeks a Computer User Support Specialist to join the on-site team. You will provide first-line help desk troubleshooting, response, and remediation, assisting end users with IT issues and documenting outcomes for compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), an A+ or similar certification, and may require DoD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance; drug testing will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Degree options: Bachelor's degree or Associate with two years' experience or High School with four years' experience.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification required.
• DoD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line help desk troubleshooting, response, and remediation.
• Resolve moderate complexity issues and document outcomes.
• Remediate trouble tickets and perform hardware troubleshooting.
• Complete routine IT tasks as directed by team lead.
• Provide customer support and ensure timely resolution with proper documentation.
