Job summary

Information Management Group (IMG) seeks a Systems Administrator to join our on-site team in West Mifflin, PA. You will administer Linux servers, Cisco infrastructure, and NetApp/Dell storage, delivering patching, hardening, backup, and automation support in a collaborative government-focused environment.

The role requires hands-on Linux, storage, and network administration with strong troubleshooting and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Clearance: DOD Top Secret or DOE Q.
• 5+ years of experience administering Linux systems in an enterprise or production environment.
• Hands-on Linux server troubleshooting, patching, security, and performance management.
• Experience administering or supporting Cisco infrastructure.
• Experience with NetApp storage administration or enterprise storage operations.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, NFS, SMB, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience with system monitoring, log analysis, backup, and recovery processes.
• Ability to write or maintain Bash or similar administrative scripts.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems.
• Administer Red Hat, Rocky Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, or equivalent distributions.
• Manage services, users, permissions, filesystems, packages, and processes.
• Patch, harden, and lifecycle-manage operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, network, and storage issues.
• Manage scheduled jobs, logging, and resource utilization.
• Support virtualization, clustering, HA, or containers as applicable.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools.
• Administer NetApp storage: provisioning, volumes, snapshots, replication, capacity.
