Job summary

Canary Systems in New London, NH seeks an IT Manager to lead our IT operations, staff laptops (about 60), onboarding/offboarding workflows, and management of in-house, colocated, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities include deploying and securing infrastructure, monitoring tools, documenting standards, supporting clients, and occasional travel. Proximity to office required at least one day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT staff and hardware inventory.
• Experience with IT onboarding/offboarding workflows.
• Experience with in-house, colocation, and cloud hosting environments.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must be near New London, NH at least one day per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff laptop inventory (around 60 laptops total).
• Provide IT onboarding/offboarding for staff, including training as required.
• Deploy and manage collocated server hosting environments.
• Implement security systems and standards for use with our deployments.
• Deploy and maintain 24x7 platform monitoring tools such as Zoho Site24x7.
• Prepare and maintain documentation around infrastructure and standards.
• Install and manage software and databases in these environments.
• Develop workflows for deploying and managing all infrastructure assets.
• Provide presentations to internal and external clients.
• Provide platform support, including training, to internal and external clients.
