Job summary

Afero is seeking an IT Administrator to manage identity, device, and SaaS platforms for a distributed team. You will own Okta, Jamf Pro, and Google Workspace across a small to mid-size organization, ensuring security, device compliance, and smooth operations.

The role requires strong written communication and the ability to work independently in a US-based team with occasional early or late hours. Prior experience with SaaS tools like Jira/Confluence, GitHub, and Slack is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience with hands-on administration of Okta, Jamf Pro and Google Workspace.
• Strong macOS support and management skills.
• Experience working independently in a small or mid-size company.

Responsibilities

• Okta administration (user lifecycle, group and app assignments, SSO/SCIM integrations).
• Google Workspace administration.
• Mac fleet management with Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager, including OS and patch compliance.
• SaaS administration (Atlassian Jira/Confluence, GitHub, Slack).
• Onboarding and offboarding IT support and incident response.
• Support for periodic access reviews.
• Hardware procurement, provisioning, asset inventory, and lifecycle.
• Office technology: conference room AV, printers, physical access control.
• Documentation and runbooks.
• Vendor and license management.
