Job summary

HackerRank's Bay Area team seeks a Senior IT Systems Administrator to provide hands-on IT support for the Santa Clara office and to manage macOS endpoints, identity access, and core SaaS applications across AMER and EMEA. This is a hands-on senior role combining employee support with systems administration and asset lifecycle management.

The role requires in-person presence 5 days a week in Santa Clara, with opportunities to drive security compliance, vendor coordination, and IT project delivery

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant experience in corporate IT support, systems administration or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience administering macOS endpoints in a corporate environment, with strong experience in Jamf or a comparable MDM platform.
• Experience administering Okta or another enterprise identity provider.
• Experience supporting business applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion, Slack and Zoom.
• Experience managing employee onboarding, offboarding and hardware lifecycles.
• Experience working through an IT service‑management or ticketing system against defined service levels.

Responsibilities

• IT support and service delivery for AMER and EMEA counterparts; resolve incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Systems and access administration: manage accounts, access, SSO, MFA and identity workflows; onboard/offboard processes.
• Endpoint and asset lifecycle management: manage devices through procurement, deployment, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Bay Area workplace tech: provide hands-on support for office tech and conference-room systems; coordinate office tech upgrades.
• Global operations and vendor management: liaise with EMEA MSP, manage hardware and service-provider relationships; escalate issues when needed.
• Process improvement and projects: analyze trends, automate repetitive IT workflows, lead IT projects end-to-end.
