Job summary

Metrc is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, and other systems, ensuring data accuracy and automated workflows across the enterprise.

You will partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable technical solutions, monitor IT infrastructure health, and help enforce internal standards and security across a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems, integrations, or business applications roles.
• Strong experience working with APIs (REST, webhooks, JSON).
• Experience with integration platforms or ETL tools such as Tray.io, Workato, MuleSoft, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL or related query languages.
• Experience with scripting and/or programming languages (PowerShell, Python, JS, et cetera).
• Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications, Operating Systems (Desktop and Server), and Server Roles (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Server, File Server, RDS, IIS, etc.)
• Understanding of data models and cross-system data relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Preferred / Nice to Have: AI tools, Azure/AWS, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, NetSuite or ERP, Snowflake/Domo/Sigma, high-growth environments

• Troubleshoot integration issues and identify root causes
• Building automations to streamline processes and workflows in the business
• Assist in the implementation and management of applications used internally
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Work with third party vendors or support as required

• Meet with business stakeholders to understand and clarify system needs
• Translate business requests into actionable technical solutions
• Identify when requests do not address root problems and propose better alternatives
• Communicate technical concepts and tradeoffs clearly to non-technical users
