Job summary

VC3 is hiring a Service Technician to respond to escalated service requests, troubleshoot Windows services and Active Directory, and manage Microsoft 365 environments. Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant technical experience OR 1 year experience in Service Technician I or II at VC3
• 2+ years experience managing Windows Service, Microsoft/Office 365, Active Directory, GPOs, Virus and Security, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V and VMWare
• Certifications: CompTIA Network/A+, Microsoft 365 or Azure preferred
• Expertise with Active Directory and Group Policy Management
• Strong background with Microsoft 365 Partner Center/Entra ID
• Background checks including CJIS requirements post-employment
• CJIS compliance knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to escalated service requests, incidents and change requests in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot issues across LOB applications, Microsoft Office, browsers, networking (DNS, DHCP, ISP), VPN/RDS/Citrix, wireless, and peripherals such as printers
• Complete technical administrative tasks including virus/malware removal, phishing email remediation, virtual server resource changes, and application password resets
• Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets
• Recommend improvements to supported hardware and software, with attention to clients’ security posture
• Maintain accurate real-time timesheets and complete troubleshooting and client communication notes
• Provide occasional onsite presence at client sites as required
• Participate in the on-call rotation, one week every 3–4 months
• Follow the VC3 Way standards and processes to deliver predictable customer results
• Perform additional duties as required
