Job summary

Phoenix-Logistics,-LL is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to provide hands-on IT support to internal staff, contractors and MSP customers. The role involves diagnosing technical issues, implementing solutions, and maintaining hardware and software across Windows and macOS environments.

You will handle ticket-based requests, install and configure servers and desktops, manage backups, and assist with Active Directory tasks while documenting processes and communicating status to users.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years’ experience in computer hardware repair and helpdesk support.
• 3+ years’ experience / Possess CompTIA Security+ Cert, intermediate proficiencies.
• Level I - Attained or working towards CompTIA Security+ certificate. Must obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Knowledge of Apple and Windows machines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail; organizational skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting end users via requests (tickets and verbal).
• Running new cables.
• Installing servers and UPSs into racks.
• Configuring or repairing new laptops and desktops; maintaining workstations and network performance.
• Installing operating systems and applications.
• Backing up data.
• Swapping out hardware such as hard drives.
• Keeping track of inventory.
• Active Directory password resets, additions/updates, facility security.
• Process documentation.
• Follow through skills; communicate status to users.
• Other related duties and tasks assigned.
