Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an IT Systems Data Analyst in Milwaukee to join the Data & Integration team. The role focuses on supporting enterprise data platform delivery, including data quality, mappings, and data lineage.

You will collaborate with data architects, modelers, and QA to validate end-to-end data transformations and ensure accurate, governed data for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of IT systems or data platform delivery experience.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, profiling, reconciliation and validation.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specs and user stories.
• Familiarity with APIs, ETL/ELT, and Agile/Scrum using Jira or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Define CDL/CDM requirements with data architects and stakeholders.
• Analyze source data structures and business rules for modeling and integration.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings and data lineage docs.
• Use SQL for data profiling, reconciliation, transformation validation, and root cause analysis.

Our client, enterprise technology organization is seeking a IT Systems Data Analyst to join their team. As a IT Systems Data Analyst, you will be part of the Data & Integration organization supporting enterprise data platform delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and data profiling skills, experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, and a proven ability to support end-to-end data quality and integration validation.

What's the Job?

Partner with data architects, data modelers, integration engineers, and business stakeholders to define and document Common Data Layer (CDL) and Common Data Model (CDM) requirements. Analyze source system data structures, business rules, and downstream consumption needs to support enterprise data modeling and integration. Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, transformation specifications, field-level definitions, and data lineage documentation to enable governed, reusable enterprise data solutions. Use SQL to perform data profiling, reconciliation, transformation validation, and root cause analysis for data quality issues across completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and referential integrity. Support Agile delivery by validating mappings and transformation rules, defining test scenarios with engineering and QA, and assisting with integration testing, regression testing, UAT, release readiness, and post-deployment validation.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT systems analysis, data systems analysis, enterprise integration, or data platform delivery.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, data profiling, reconciliation, and validation.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, including documenting data flows and system interactions.
• Familiarity with APIs and ETL/ELT processes, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira or similar tools.
