Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics organization. The role focuses on building governed, production-ready data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure, with emphasis on ingestion, transformation, and serving layers for trusted data products.

You will own end-to-end data engineering tasks, mentor peers, and collaborate across functions to support AI-enabled capabilities and leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of professional data engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership on enterprise-grade data platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills including complex query authoring, performance tuning, and schema design at scale.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks, including testing, documentation, and CI/CD integration.
• Production experience with Snowflake and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault).
• Working knowledge of data governance, lineage, cataloging, and security/compliance practices in regulated environments (SOC 2 Type 2 and PII handling).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise-grade data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure.
• Architect ingestion and integration patterns across source systems using CDC, batch, and streaming approaches.
• Establish transformation frameworks using dbt as modeling standard, ensuring version-controlled, tested, observable pipelines.
• Own pipeline SLAs by defining and tracking freshness, completeness, and error-rate targets with runbooks and on-call readiness.

Our client, a local financial services organization, is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data & Analytics organization supporting the Data Foundation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of technical ownership, the ability to mentor and collaborate across functions, and a commitment to building governed, production-ready data pipelines that power trusted decision-making and AI-enabled capabilities.

What's the Job?

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data pipelines on Snowflake and Azure, owning ingestion, transformation, and serving layers for governed data products.

• Architect ingestion and integration patterns across source systems, applying CDC, batch, and streaming approaches where appropriate.
