Los Alamitos Unified School District is seeking an Information Systems Specialist II to support site technicians and manage cloud and directory services, including Active Directory, Google Apps for Education, and LDAP. The role involves complex duties in installation, operation, and maintenance of computers, networks, and AV equipment.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field and 5+ years of enterprise IT experience; desirable certifications include A+,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent with 5+ years IT experience in a multi-site enterprise.
A+ and/or MCP/MSE, Apple ACMT, Google Certified Innovator, or Cisco CCNA desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide support for site technicians.
Administer/manage Cloud and Directory Services (AD, GAFE, LDAP).
Perform installation, operation, setup, maintenance and repair of computers, audio-visual equipment, peripherals, software, and networks.
