VCU School of Dentistry seeks an IT Systems Analyst – Digital Dentistry Hardware & Imaging Specialist to advance end-user endpoints, dental imaging, and lab hardware within the Office of Information Technology.

The role combines clinical tech support with enterprise endpoint management across macOS, Windows 11, and mobile devices, integrating CBCT and intraoral scanners while collaborating with clinicians and vendors in a fast-paced healthcare education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent IT field.
• Hands-on experience supporting macOS, Windows 11, mobile OS, and enterprise imaging.
• Experience with endpoint automation via PowerShell or shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot endpoints across macOS, Windows 11 and mobile devices.
• Coordinate hardware integration for 3D imaging, intraoral scanners, and dental CBCT systems.
• Provide Tier-2/3 support and perform root-cause analysis for incidents.
• Document SOPs and technical workflows in Confluence/Google Drive.
• Collaborate with clinical users, faculty, and vendor engineers.
