Job summary

eGroup Technologies, the IT-subsidiary of ebuero AG, is seeking a System Administrator to keep and improve the platform for 1,000+ colleagues and 500+ clients across Europe. You’ll manage servers, virtualization, backups, and core services both on-premises and in the cloud, while handling identity, access, and collaboration tools.

You will automate tasks with PowerShell or Bash, support security with patching and monitoring, and own business tools from Atlassian to finance apps, contributing to

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a system administrator in a mixed environment.
• Strong fundamentals in Windows Server and Microsoft 365; familiarity with Linux command line and networking basics.
• Scripting: PowerShell or Bash to automate tasks.
• Curiosity, ownership, and ability to work independently.
• Team-oriented with good communication across departments.
• Nice to have: VMware, Veeam, Intune, SentinelOne or Atlassian administration; German language skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain servers, virtualization, backup, and core services on-premises and in the cloud.
• Manage user accounts, access, clients and collaboration tools; enable SSO connections.
• Maintain security: patching, hardening, monitoring; handle vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Own business applications from tools such as Atlassian to finance software.
• Drive improvements and automation with scripts and lead office rollouts and integrations of acquired companies.
