Job summary

Liebherr USA Co. is seeking an IT Infrastructure/Systems Administrator to manage on‑prem and cloud servers, virtualization, storage, and data center operations at the Tupelo, MS location.

Responsibilities include service‑desk support, OS updates, backups, and vendor coordination to maintain high availability. The role progresses across Level I–III with increasing focus on datacenter design, storage orchestration, and disaster recovery, in support of Liebherr’s U.S.

Qualifications

• Level I–III requirements for IT infrastructure and data center operations.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery methodologies.
• Security and compliance awareness across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data to identify system and network requirements.
• Maintains logs of system performance and repair records.
• Builds physical, virtual, and cloud machines; coordinates OS updates.
• Coordinates with vendors to resolve hardware issues and improve configurations.
• Ensures backups and high availability with DR strategies (Veeam).
• Creates and maintains IT infrastructure documentation.
• Manages service desk requests and cross‑functional projects.
