Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a Systems Administrator I to ensure the reliability of the District's IT systems, equipment, and infrastructure. You will monitor, document, and maintain systems, collaborate with IT staff, and resolve technical issues while following security protocols and procedures, with a focus on strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in information systems, computer science, systems administration, or related area.
• Two years of similar or relevant experience may substitute for this requirement.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of District systems and infrastructure, including monitoring and routine maintenance.
• Manage and respond to incidents and service requests with courteous, professional end-user support.
• Administer and maintain security measures to restrict unauthorized use of District resources and data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and support infrastructure to meet IT Service Level Agreements.
• Contribute to development and execution of the District's systems and infrastructure.
• Assess new technologies for security risks and benefits.
