Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks an IT Administrator to oversee the district's information technology systems, ensure security, and optimize technology operations across schools. You will integrate technology into education, assess infrastructure, and advise on hardware and software enhancements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, network maintenance, policy development, and coordinating with vendors to stay current with trends while protecting sensitive district

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Google Workspace tools and Admin Console.
• Experience with PC, MAC, Chromebook and iPad hardware and applications.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization when handling support requests.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to report work to supervisor and work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of school district data and other sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the district's Information Technology Systems and activities.
• Assess hardware/software malfunctions and determine corrective actions for operations.
• Develop and manage the district networks and technology infrastructure.
• Coordinate with classroom technology applications across content areas.
• Provide leadership and support for designing and maintaining an efficient technology system.
• Research technologies, vendors, and subscriptions to stay current and advise purchases.
