Job summary

Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking an IT Systems Administrator I to maintain and support the District's IT systems, infrastructure, and services. The role emphasizes reliability, availability, and strong customer support, working closely with IT staff to resolve issues and implement standards and security protocols.

This Regular/Permanent, 1.0 FTE position offers standard hours (40 per week) and a 12-month schedule, located in Thornton, CO.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in information systems, computer science, or related field; two years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems; familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware) is a plus.
• One to two years of experience in desktop management, virtualization, storage, data communications, or related IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of District systems and infrastructure; monitor, respond to incidents, and perform routine maintenance.
• Respond to incidents and service requests; provide courteous, professional end-user support and ensure resolutions follow best practices.
• Administer and maintain security measures to restrict unauthorized use of District resources and data.
