Job summary

NMG Aerospace is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of our IT infrastructure. You will ensure high availability of servers, networks, cloud services, and enterprise apps while delivering Tier II/III support and maintaining cybersecurity best practices.

The role requires experience with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, 365 administration, virtualization, and network security.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems administration.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management services.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity for high availability.
• Perform updates, patch management, and firmware upgrades.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure and security controls.
• Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support.
