Job summary

General Electric Credit Union is seeking an IT Systems Administrator I to manage the Microsoft-based infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Intune. You will support both on-premises and cloud environments, automate tasks, and help maintain secure, reliable IT operations across the organization.

The role requires strong scripting abilities, server administration experience, and a focus on proactive problem resolution in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
• IT professional certifications (e.g., MCP, Server+) preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with M365, AD, Group Policy, and Azure administration

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues
• Create and manage user accounts and AD Group Policies
• Configure Azure/Intune and Configuration Profiles
• Manage software and OS patching processes
• Design automation and deployment processes
• Support and administer third-party applications
• Administer on-premises and cloud-hosted servers
• Implement scripting-based solutions (PowerShell)
• Ensure IT Change Management policies are followed
• Maintain system documentation and security baselines
