Job summary

The New Mexico Department of Health, Information Technology Services Division, is seeking an Associate IT Systems Administrator for the Northeast Region (Region 2). Based at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute in Las Vegas, NM, you will support regional IT operations and public health facilities, handling incidents and hardware deployments.

You will work with desktop and network teams, participate in enterprise projects, and ensure timely resolution of escalated requests.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus two years of end-user support, systems administration, or related field; four years can substitute for education/experience.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve Windows desktop incidents and service requests.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT incidents and service requests; prioritize by impact and severity.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software; coordinate with Network Operations.
• Assist in enterprise-level technical projects and deployments.
• Provide in-person, phone, email, and remote support to DOH stakeholders.
