Delivers innovative and reliable technology solutions to support and maintain MCSO servers, connectivity, and network systems. Key responsibilities include administering and managing the agency's IT infrastructure, with emphasis on Active Directory, Entra (Azure AD), Microsoft Exchange On-Premises and M365 Online, Windows Server environments, and system monitoring platforms. This role demands strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to optimizing and enhancing agency systems. Installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of operating systems and hardware. Responsible for ensuring the servers are up to date, operating at a maximum capacity, and protected against security threats. Monitors, troubleshoots and resolves any issues related to availability, utilization and connectivity. Manages and monitors hosted applications. Provides agency-wide application updates. Reviews server or system logs to audit performance, and to track and prevent downtime. Assists with IT planning for hardware and software upgrades. After hours and weekend work required.

- Proficient with PowerShell scripting skills.
- Experience managing and administering SIEM platforms
- Working knowledge of computer technical publications and reference material.
- Skilled in communicating technical information to nontechnical users.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES- Required to speak and hear clearly. Often required to sit and use hands and fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Requires close vision.
- Raising objects in an upward movement, or moving objects from position to position at the same level. The weight of the object being lifted or moved is described as medium (21 to 50 pounds). The vertical lifting requirement ranges between 12 and 36 inches.

- Researches, generates and presents either orally, in wiring, or both, accurate and detailed proposals for new/upgraded equipment rationalizing the need in terms of cost and improved effectiveness.
- Researches and recommends new technologies to improve information efficiency and operational effectiveness consistent with agency mission, strategic plan and goals.
- Responsible for documenting changes made to environment (software/hardware) through the use of SOPs, video clips, instructional emails, etc.
- Responsible for creating project plans and business cases when rolling out or implementing new projects.
- Responsible for documenting any changes made to software or hardware through adoption of system and/or change management techniques.
- Successfully completes all assignments to specifications, within specified timeframe and budget as directed and in accordance with agency policies and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, or sufficient equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of work experience or more in systems analysis and/or programming.
- 3 years of work experience in Windows Server Administration required.
- Experience with VMware virtualization environments preferred
- Experience with network diagnostics and troubleshooting preferred
- Experience with upgrading enterprise applications and systems preferred
- Certification desired in 1 or more of the following: MCTS, MCITP, MCPD, MCAP, MCDST, MCLC, MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, MCT, MCAD, MCSD, MOS.
- Valid Florida driver license.
- Must pass MCSO 8-hour Driver Improvement Course.
