Job summary

State of Washington’s Department of Enterprise Services is seeking an IT System Admin for the Journey role within the Technology Services Division. The position operates in a hybrid office setting with periodic in-person work required, Monday through Friday during 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

The role focuses on administering agency and statewide enterprise applications, providing leadership on complex issues, and collaborating with multiple IT teams to design, implement, and support system

Qualifications

• Five years of IT experience including analyzing, designing, configuring and supporting software and systems.
• Three years of experience configuring complex environments and creating technical work plans and requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality application and system solutions that support agency and statewide public sector customers.
• Perform root cause analysis and analyze system changes to engineer solutions.
• Administer and configure systems; deliver changes and enhancements; ensure systems are current and secure.
• Create and maintain system design and technical support documentation and procedures.
• Maintain and improve personal and team technical skills and knowledge.
