Job summary

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, a national litigation firm, seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist for our Kansas City office. You will provide end-user technical support, training, and collaboration across IT, HR, and admin teams to ensure smooth operations.

Strong MS Office proficiency and customer-service orientation are required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT support within professional services, familiarity with iManage/Document Management, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience as an IT support specialist in a professional services environment.
• Experience with end-user training and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
• iManage or Document Management experience preferred.
• Law firm experience a plus.
• Demonstrates patience and ability to teach users to self-serve.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel to assigned support locations as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical and applications support.
• Monitor ticketing system to ensure incidents are resolved or escalated promptly.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, and Administrative teams for optimal outcomes and end-user support.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, clients, and vendors.
• Provide support and training for VOIP, Unified Communications systems, and video conferencing.
• Manage Active Directory and Office365 administration.
• Assist deployment of new technologies and communicate needs to leadership.
• Document IT service requests and IT processes to ensure traceability.
• Maintain vendor relationships and escalate to IT Support Manager when needed.
• Facilitate setup and relocation of offices under tight timelines.
