Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP (FMG) in Kansas City is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on end-user support and training across the national firm. The role focuses on resolving software/hardware issues, managing tickets, and delivering training on Microsoft Office and collaboration tools to attorneys and staff.

The candidate should have strong customer service, problem solving, and communication abilities, with occasional travel between offices as needed and the ability

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as an IT support specialist in a professional services environment.
• Expert level Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). OneDrive and SharePoint experience.
• Experience with iManage or Document Management systems preferred.
• Strong training and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Support end-user technical and applications software problem resolution.
• Monitor ticketing system and escalate to firm technology resources as needed.
• Interact with IT team, HR and Administrative management to achieve outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, clients and vendors.
• Provide support and training for VOIP & Softphones, Unified Collaboration systems, and video conferencing.
• Active Directory, Office 365 administration.
• Assist deployment of new technologies and communicate needs to partners.
• Document IT service requests and ensure adherence to IT processes and policies.
• Maintain vendor relationships and escalate issues as needed.
• Facilitate setup and relocation of offices under tight timelines.
• Additional duties as assigned.
