Summit Line Construction is seeking a qualified IT Specialist to provide tier 1 support at its Heber, Utah location. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, with emphasis on Windows 11, Office 365, network services, and mobile devices.

The role requires effective multi-tasking, calm communication, and diligent task execution. You will help implement IT policies and support the IT department’s operations in a growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification (A+, Network+) preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote support tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the first point of contact for end users seeking IT support and resolves day-to-day issues; escalates complex problems as needed.
• Provides technical assistance for computer, software, network, printing, and mobile device issues in person, over the phone, or remotely.
• Assists with orientation training in technology equipment and with department-driven projects when requested.
• Implements IT policies and procedures per corporate guidelines and control framework.
• Supports IT department operations and provides connectivity and shared services support.
• Maintains inventory of hardware, software, and resources with accuracy.
• Troubleshoots tech issues and logs all repairs and maintenance procedures.
• Prepares and installs workstations, loads software, creates network accounts.
• Assists with monitoring of security policies across technology.
