Job summary

Hendrick Motorsports in Charlotte, NC is seeking a hands-on IT Support professional to help users with computer hardware and software, including printing, email, and operating systems. Under the IT Operations Manager, you will resolve issues in person, on the phone, or via Teams.

The role covers account management with Active Directory and Entra ID, MFA, and device imaging with SCCM and Intune. You will set up PCs, track equipment, and contribute to network and security tasks across campus.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Provides technical troubleshooting for internal customers, remotely or in person.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting and analysis for internal customers, remotely or in person.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and applications.
• Maintain and upgrade office computers and equipment as needed.
• Monitor user accounts using on-premises Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and the Microsoft 365 admin center.
• Assist users with multifactor authentication (MFA) on their devices.
• Image machines and mobile devices using SCCM and Intune.
• Set up and install new PCs, workstations, and peripheral devices for end users.
• Log and track all IT equipment issued to employees, and maintain the corporate PC list so IT knows who each PC is assigned to.
• Research hardware requirements and place orders for new IT equipment.
• Monitor network connectivity of machines across campus using Extreme Cloud IQ (XIQ)
• Troubleshoot connection issues caused by authentication problems.
