Job summary

Hendrick Motorsports is seeking a Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure in a hybrid environment. You’ll monitor system health, handle escalated tickets, and mentor help desk staff on troubleshooting.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience with AD, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, plus familiarity with Windows Server, networking, and security best practices. This on‑site position cannot be performed remotely.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of systems administration in hybrid (on‑premises and cloud) environments.
• Hands‑on experience with AD, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Windows Server and virtualized environments.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless.
• Familiarity with RBAC, MFA, and conditional access.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor system health and resolve issues to improve performance and reliability.
• Manage VoIP systems and directory services.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery across Azure, AWS, and Acronis.
• Configure and maintain wired/wireless networks (Extreme Cloud IQ/Site Engine).
• Deploy and manage on‑premises and cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Administer file shares and permissions, monitor storage capacity.
• Build and support VMs; apply patches and security updates.
• Document configurations and changes; follow change management.
