Job summary

Endurance IT Services is seeking an IT Support Technician / Junior Systems Administrator in Hampton, VA to provide hands-on help desk support and basic system administration for end users. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves supporting Windows/Mac operating systems, Active Directory, and Windows Server tasks, with opportunities to grow into more advanced IT responsibilities within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience providing desktop, help desk, or technical support.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, software applications, and network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Support Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Create, modify, and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
• Assist with Windows Server administration and system maintenance.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve incidents.
• Manage and maintain printers, peripherals, and related equipment.
• Respond to help desk requests and document resolutions.
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset records.
• Collaborate with IT team members on projects and upgrades.
• Provide excellent end-user service while meeting SLAs.
• Assist with technology support during events and organizational initiatives.
