Job summary

The Police Athletic League Inc is seeking an IT Support Technician to maintain and troubleshoot PAL’s computer systems across NYC locations. The role covers hardware, software, and network support for a hybrid work environment using Office 365, AD and Azure services.

You will work with the Operations team and IT Business Partner, handling ticketing, onboarding/offboarding, and coordinating with vendors to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; further education or certifications in IT, or related fields preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, Azure AD and Group Policy.
• Microsoft Certified Professional certification or other industry Certification preferred
• Basic network technology knowledge (LAN/WAN and wireless)
• Hardware experience must include desktops, laptops, Smartphones, VoIP phones, printers and scanners

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, peripherals, operating systems issues.
• Support new desktop, laptop and mobile phone user setup and mobile device management solution, including orienting staff on new equipment.
• Serve as one of the primary contact to support internal company, end users, and IT operations
• Update PAL’s IT Ticketing system to ensure that all tickets are resolved and documented appropriately
• Provide on-site critical support at PAL locations to troubleshoot, resolve, and accurately documents various technical problems and resolutions
• Coordinate with HR to support IT onboarding and off-boarding tasks for new employees including AD account management and IT equipment set up / provisioning
