Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut is seeking an IT Support Technician who will deliver first-line IT assistance across offices and retail locations in Connecticut, resolving hardware and software issues and ensuring employee productivity.

The role covers Windows 10, AD, Office 365, POS support, after-hours rotations, and travel to multiple stores using a company vehicle; benefits include health/dental/vision and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Provide first level IT support for all employees in-person, by phone, and via remote access.
• Provide Retail POS system hardware support and software support with POS vendor.
• Install, image, configure, and troubleshoot back-office computers and printers.
• Perform preventative maintenance, tests, and repair of computer hardware.
• Create and manage user accounts in AD and Office 365, as well as other company systems.
• Create and maintain IT supporting documentation.
• Record and track all IT devices in our inventory database.
• Install appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components, and office applications.
• Participate in after-hours support rotation.
• Must have valid CT license and daily use of a reliable, insured vehicle for frequent travel to retail stores throughout Connecticut.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift over 40lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
