Job summary

Turner Industries Group in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an IT Support Technician I to provide friendly, reliable technical assistance to employees. You will process incidents and requests from start to completion, serving as the main contact for service requests.

Responsibilities include loading the company-standard image on computers, maintaining hardware/software inventories, and guiding users on hardware, software, and network issues. On-call rotation may be required; benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent plus 2 years of secondary education or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in an IT Support Role.
• Must possess excellent customer service minded professionalism and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Address users in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner; document and track requests in the service desk system.
• Load and configure the company-standard image on new and existing computers.
• Maintain accurate inventory of computers, peripherals, and software; keep records updated in the help desk system.
• Assist in resolving hardware, software, and network issues and guide end users.
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned; follow safety guidelines and procedures.
