Job summary

Security First Insurance is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to serve as the go-to resource for hands-on technology support. You will ensure desktops, laptops, phones, and critical systems are operating optimally while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role involves problem-solving, collaboration with vendors, and contributing to IT projects. A Florida driver’s license may be required. Entry-level experience with Windows and remote desktop support is valued.

Qualifications

• One year of PC troubleshooting experience and familiarity with Microsoft operating systems.
• Experience with remote desktop support and VoIP user support.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to help desk requests and provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, and end-user tech.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based workstations and related equipment.
• Support phones, headsets, call center apps, mobile devices, teleconferencing, and collaboration tools.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, copiers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Manage IT equipment inventory and assist with deployment, upgrades, and replacements.
• Assist with server monitoring, user accounts, password resets, antivirus management, and backups.
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement upgrades.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Support business continuity, including disaster recovery testing and critical events response.
• Collaborate across teams on IT projects and initiatives.
