Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer in Parsippany, NJ. You will provide second-line investigation, diagnose incidents, and manage end-user hardware across laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.

You will also perform staging, IMAC tasks, and coordinate with vendors for break-fix services. The role requires strong hardware/software knowledge, Windows and macOS proficiency, and experience with ITIL-like processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware operations.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Windows 10/7 and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with macOS and cross-platform support.

Responsibilities

• Provides second-line investigation and diagnosis.
• Resolves and closes incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Escalates unresolved issues per process and timelines.
• Logs incident details and communicates progress to users.
• Performs PC staging and IMAC activities for end-user devices.
• Conducts hardware and software maintenance and support.
• Manages hardware inventory, spare parts, and asset disposition.
• Coordinates with vendors for break-fix services and loaner devices.
