Job summary

San Diego American Indian Health Center in San Diego, CA is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 help desk support for the organization's computer, network, and telephony systems. You will be the first point of contact for staff technology issues and document resolutions in our ticketing system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on desktop support or IT technician experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft 365, printers, and network connectivity.
• Experience administering user accounts in directory services and familiarity with HIPAA requirements.
• Familiarity with HIPAA Security Rule and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for staff technology issues received by ticket, phone, or in person, and document each issue, action taken, and resolution in the ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, printing, connectivity, and telephony problems for end users at all sites.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and telephony equipment.
• Escalate issues beyond Level 2 scope to the manager and track them through to closure.
• Provide technology support for meetings, trainings, telehealth visits, and mobile or off-site clinic operations.
