IT Support Technician — Dynamics 365 & MDM (On‑Site)

Job summary

INFORS HT in Maryland, USA seeks a hands-on IT Support professional to provide first-level help desk for hardware, software, and user accounts in the US.

You will set up and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices, manage imaging with MDM (Intune/Autopilot), and administer Microsoft 365 services. Onboarding/offboarding, incident logging, and ERP experience with Dynamics will be valued. On-site role with one remote day weekly possible.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT-related field; professional experience may substitute.
• 3-6 years IT support or similar role
• ERP exposure with MS Dynamics GP/Business Central preferred
• Experience supporting end users in a business environment
• Experience with ticketing/ITSM systems
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network issues
• Solid understanding of Windows-based environments and Microsoft 365 apps
• Familiarity with local network support and basic infrastructure tasks
• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently on-site while collaborating with international teams
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
• Experience with device setup, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
• English (professional working proficiency); German a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and user accounts in the US
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices
• Manage client imaging, provisioning, and deployment using MDM tools (e.g. Microsoft Intune / Autopilot)
• Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory and manage hardware lifecycle (procurement, deployment, replacement, disposal)
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (user accounts, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint)
• Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, including workstation setup and access provisioning
• Log, prioritize, and track incidents and service requests in the ITSM system
• Coordinate with HQ and partners on Dynamics 365 Business Central topics to closure
• Support local network, printer, and connectivity issues (VPN, Azure Virtual Desktop)
• Coordinate with central IT team in Switzerland on standards, security, and rollouts
