Job summary

The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Washington is recruiting for a permanent full-time IT Support Technician 2 in the Information Services Division, located in Tumwater, Washington. The role is not union-represented and offers excellent benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Salary range is $50,412 to $67,704 annually. The base pay considers internal equity and candidate experience, with a focus on work-life balance and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years of information technology-related activities such as systems administration, installing and maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting peripherals, basic networking knowledge.
• Six months experience working in a law firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for software, hardware, and other deployments performed by ISD teams or because of a project.
• Support device deployments and customer requested device trades, image devices, migrate customer settings, install software, and assist users with setup questions.
• Process customer requests assigned to the System Operations team.
• Perform software installation and manage software licenses as part of the installation process.
• Apply known remediation solutions for endpoint issues preventing periodic device feature updates, patching, and encryption compliance; seek guidance or reimage when solutions do not resolve.
• Provide technical and customer support for conference room technology
• Apply standard procedures, WAC's, RCWs, and Agency policy to job tasks.
