Job summary

The Washington State Office of the Attorney General is seeking an IT Support Technician 2 in the Information Services Division for multiple locations (Tumwater, Seattle, Spokane). The role is full-time and not union-represented, with a salary range of $50,412 to $67,704 annually.

The position involves desktop support for AGO laptops/devices, Windows software, and hardware, plus regional duties. Seattle location adds 5% King County Location Pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of information technology-related experience (systems administration, hardware/software maintenance, troubleshooting, networking basics).
• Six months or more experience in a law firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level diagnostic and support services for agency standard applications, remote access, network access, fleet management, hardware repairs and deployments.
• Configure and deploy laptops and peripheral devices across AGO locations statewide.
• Maintain network adapters/ports; document telephone system configurations; support conference room technology.
• Offer on-site customer support and assist in transitions to new technology, including occasional overnight travel.
• Keep AGO Inventory system current and provide regional area support.
