Our Financial Services client is looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team in Sarasota, Florida.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled IT Support Technician to provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will assist users both remotely (via phone, email, or remote tools) and on-site with hands-on technical support.

• Salary: $22 - 30 per hour
• Work hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end users via phone, email, and in person
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
• Set up, install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Support and troubleshoot Windows/macOS operating systems and commonly used software (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system
• Escalate more complex issues to appropriate IT team members as needed
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role
• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, and basic networking
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
