Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking a hands-on Desktop Engineer to support hardware, infrastructure, and end-user technology in a mission-critical operations environment. The role emphasizes hardware deployment, desktop support, networking, and data center operations.

You will build, image, configure, and deploy devices; troubleshoot desktops and connectivity; perform rack-and-stack and cabling; handle L1/L2 issues; and assist with change management and site operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on IT support, field services, infrastructure, or data center experience.
• Experience with hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and basic Linux command-line usage.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, cabling, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ServiceNow experience is a plus.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience preferred.
