Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking a hands-on Desktop Engineer to support hardware, desktop, and network connectivity in a high-availability operations environment. You will build, image, configure, and deploy equipment; troubleshoot Windows and basic Linux; perform rack, cabling, and site‑level fault isolation; and assist with change management and improvements.

Ideal candidate has 1+ year IT support or data center experience, familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus, and holds or is pursuing

• 1+ year hands-on IT support, field services, infrastructure, or data center experience.
• Experience with hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and basic Linux command-line usage.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, cabling, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• ServiceNow experience is a plus.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience preferred.
