Job summary

Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation seeks an IT Support professional to promote maximum service to teammates by assisting with hardware and software needs, ensuring affordable, reliable electric service and outstanding member service.

The role requires an associate degree or TCAT IT program completion or four years of related experience, plus a range of certifications from A+ to cloud and security.

Qualifications

• Must have at least an associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or TCAT IT program or four years of related experience.
• Must have one of the listed active certifications (Entry Level: A+, M365 Endpoint Admin, Google IT Support; Advanced: Network+, Security+, Cloud+, Project+, M365 Apps/ Admin/ Teams/ Identity/ Security/ and more).
• Good understanding of computer workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
• Reclassification to the senior level requires performance, ability to diagnose complex problems, manage IT projects, three advanced certifications, and supervisor approval.

• Must have a good understanding of computer workstations, printers, and other peripherals, such as monitors, keyboards, and scanners.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
• Reclassification to the senior level requires at least two (2) years of satisfactory job performance, ability to diagnose and correct complex technical problems, independently manage IT projects, obtain at least three (3) advanced certifications from the above list, and the recommendation of the supervisor. Additionally, the employee must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
