Job summary

Fissco Supply in Dallas, TX is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technology support and manage office systems. You will interact with vendors for IT infrastructure upkeep, onboard/offboard users, and assist with projects in a Windows PC environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or 3 years IT support experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Windows XP/7 and Microsoft Office 2007/2010.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work flexible hours and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direct and phone support for team members’ technology questions.
• Report support requests in the vendor ticket system.
• Familiarize team with IT processes and procedures.
• Escalate hardware/software issues and requests as needed.
• Maintain internal phone system and related software.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding and access.
• Support Windows PC network environment projects.
• Develop and maintain knowledgebase statements and FAQs.
• Log and monitor support requests in the IT queue.
• Review processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Interface with vendors for office equipment repairs/purchases.
• Oversee branch and office facilities maintenance and improvements.
