Job summary

City of Philadelphia is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to support desktop, mobile, endpoint management, and Fleet diagnostic technologies used by DFS staff. You will help with Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, AD, and scripting tasks.

You will deploy devices, assist IT projects, and coordinate with Citywide IT while maintaining documentation. A two-year enterprise support background and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing network and application support services to end users.
• Experience administering Microsoft based systems including Active Directory, GPOs, and enterprise management systems.
• Experience working in a large government agency preferred.
• Ability to complete a successful background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware, software, networking, mobile device, and vehicle diagnostic issues.
• Support Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, deployment, configuration, and compliance.
• Administer Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) for users, computers, and devices.
• Assist with Group Policy testing and implementation for Fleet devices and users.
