Job summary

The Quanta Manufacturing Fremont (QMF) IT Service Desk seeks an IT Technician II to provide enhanced level support for internal users in our Fremont office. You will be the face of Quanta IT, improving the IT experience by updating knowledge bases, documenting processes, and identifying trends for improvement.

In this role you will support Mac and Windows, manage tickets, and collaborate with teams while providing training and maintaining SOPs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a corporate IT help desk/service desk role.
• Experience managing Mac and Windows fleets.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, Atlassian Suite.
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Apple and Windows environments.
• Support mobile computing environments.
• Support a wide range of technologies, including Laptops, Printers, VoIP, copiers, Audio/Video (AV) collaboration systems, automation robotics devices, handheld scanners, etc.
• Assist in managing the Service Desk ticket queues and prioritizing response to these requests
• Collaborate with other IT and internal teams to support their initiatives.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on IT supported applications and services.
• Develop and maintain documentation and SOP’s for related IT supported applications and services.
• Tier 2 Escalation for IT supported applications and services.
