Job summary

Quanta Manufacturing Fremont is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to provide laptop and workstation support for the end-user base. You will perform Windows server and client administration, add new systems to the network, configure OS, applications, and permissions, and ensure secure printing and networking.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in a client/server environment, 2 years in a similar role, and experience with Windows XP–10, Active Directory, TCP/IP, NTFS rights, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a client/server environment or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a similar IT role
• Experience with Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide laptop and workstation support to end-user base.
• Perform Windows systems administration for all platforms.
• Add new systems to the network, including OS, apps, and configurations.
• Set file and folder permissions and maintain security.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software and network connectivity issues.
• Provide antivirus and malware remediation and system restore.
• Install and configure printers and print servers.
• Document processes and procedures.
