Job summary

The NYS Office of Information Technology Services seeks qualified applicants for a position providing critical operational support to state agencies on a 24x7x365 basis. Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's or higher-level degree with CS credits or related IT experience.
• May require 1 year of information technology experience or 2 years IT experience as an alternative.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7x365 operational support to state agencies.
• Resolve break/fix outages and engage with end-users, ITS specialists, and vendors.
• Monitor maintenance activities and escalate/report to management as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher with CS credits/experience, or 60+ credit hours with CS + 1 year IT, or 2 years IT experience
