Job summary

The Division of Administration/Office of Technology Services is seeking an IT professional to support end-user computing across the state. The role involves field operations, advanced remote support, and incident management for more than 30,000 users and devices in 720+ locations.

The incumbent will travel to OTS customer offices, support complex devices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in information technology.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in information technology.
• Associate's degree in information technology plus five years of experience in information technology.
• A bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience in information technology.
• A bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics plus four years of experience in information technology.
• A master’s degree plus four years of experience in information technology.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical design services for a statewide end-user function at the enterprise level.
• Creates project documentation, end user messaging information and training guides.
• Performs end-user support through updates, service requests and advanced hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Manages user accounts, password resets and asset information.
• Oversees incident and problem resolution with other support teams to meet service levels.
• Leads complex end-user technology deployments and supports disaster operations.
